An Antique Georgian Silver Mote Spoon 

Circa 1750

This attractive antique silver mote spoon has a very ornate pierced work bowl with additional engraving to reverse . With a tapering handle with diamond point terminal

Mote Spoons are believed to be an early form of tea strainer. The spiked end can clear tea leaf blockages from the grill inside the teapot.
 
 It is stamped with two marks but these are unclear
