An Antique Victorian Solid Silver & Glass Bath Salts Jar / Perfume Bottle.
Of a cylindrical shape with a wide silver hinged lid with a gilt interior and collar.
The lid has an applied oval section decorated with a band of flowers and is suitable for engraving
The glass body has star cut glass base.
It has a large circular glass stopper which has an arch shaped glass handle.
With hallmarks to both the collar and lid for London 1896 with makers mark WC JL for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co
(William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman)
The lid is also stamped with the Goldsmiths Company retailers mark
It stands 11cm in height and 6.7cm in diameter
In nice condition for its age with a couple of light dings to the top and a tiny slither chip below the hinge
