A Fine & Rare Chamberlain's
Worcester topographical Inkwell & Quill holder
Circa 1820
It is drum shape & finely painted with
a titled view of Oxford.
The beautifully painted scene depicts two men
wearing gowns and mortar boards walking along the pavement past a range of
accurately depicted buildings, reserved on a pale yellow ground.
With an inkwell and three quill holders to the
top
It measures 4.5cm in height & 5cm in
diameter
The base is painted 'Chamberlains Worcester' in
red script.
Condition: It has one very fine hairline
