A Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Column Lamp Base
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1892 with makers mark JTH over JHM for John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton of Hukin & Heath
This beautiful lamp base has a fluted sterling silver column with a rounded base With a nob nail cut glass reservoir with a brass surround
Converted for electricity with a hole for wire made through the candlestick and glass reservoir
The silver is in excellent condition with no ding, dents or damage.
The nob nail glass is also in good condition with just a few minor chips round the section where the glass rests against the horizontal silver support bar, (and unnoticeable when displayed because of this same supporting bar)
The pierced brass top has one small section of damage
It measures 38cm (15 inches) in height & 12cm (5 inches) diameter across its base
